I’m a married mother of three living in Colorado. I am a Jesus follower, and stay at home mom. That means I’m a professional volunteer, part time cook (but sometimes chef), full time wife. I have hobbies that range from reading and writing. I love to organize and label things.
I am not Jesus. I tell you this because you should know that I am writing from my understanding of scripture. But I’m not Jesus-so I can promise you that I’m going to make mistakes. I am only writing from my personal experience and my love of where God has led me up until this point in my life.
Also-I didn’t go to seminary. I do not know Hebrew or Greek. When I quote scripture I am relying heavily on Strongs to define some of the original scripture texts for me.
All that I can say in my defense is that I have been influenced by some very faithful folks (both seminarians and non-seminarians) who have repeatedly pointed me to Jesus. From what I can tell, going to seminary doesn’t necessarily mean one is passionate about their walk with Jesus. But living life with Him daily is a start.
13 When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.
My hope is that one day, someone might say that they took note that I had been with Jesus.
